Savoring every moment with these wonderful dogs! We are on the downhill side of vacation, and even though this whole trip was designed around the pups, I still feel like I don’t get to spend enough time with these kids! Life doesn’t get any sweeter than when t is shared with all this unconditional love! These babies are so eager to please! They spend their time enjoying every moment they are given. They are my role models. Present, honest, loving, genuine, trustworthy, the list of their positive traits is endless… I wish I could be more like them. Enjoy what I have now rather than always be chasing something n the future. Trust more. Love more.
Even as write this I see myself looking at the next couple days in a sadly human rather than a joyously canine way. I am already building departure checklists in my head rather than embracing the time we still have left. I need to take a deep breath and stop worrying about leaving when we have a day and a half left to enjoy this moment, this part of our journey. Then, when it is time for this moment of being here on vacation with my beautiful babies, comes to an end we can then focus on the adventure of traveling back home together.
As for me now, I am going to snuggle with my incredible little swimmer. Me and my boy in a snuggle of love 🙂
